CASE STUDY 3:

EAZEY, PARROTT, DURKIN, & SHOULDERS

The local architectural and engineering firm has a network that links its offices in Evansville and Indianapolis. They wanted to upgrade their fileserver’s hardware and software with no transitional downtime.

"Lieberman took ample time before starting to figure out exactly what our needs were," said Jason Fischer, IT Manager at Veazey, Parrott, Durkin, & Shoulders.

Lieberman Technologies installed a new fileserver running Server 2003 at the Evansville office in a way that allowed the users to stay productive. At the same time, Exchange Server 2003 was added, allowing the company to host its own mail server. Lieberman also assisted the Indianapolis office in upgrading to Server 2003.

"Through talks with Lieberman, we were able to determine what was needed for now and in the future," said Fischer. "The install reflected this and met all of our needs. We experienced no down time as a result of the installation of the new server."

At one point, when the fileserver became unstable for unknown reasons, Lieberman replaced all hardware within a 45-minute window and brought the client back up. The cause of the instability was found to be a new Internet application, not the hardware - but the reason Lieberman was able to quickly rule out hardware as the cause is their commitment to stock replacement hardware for the fileservers it sells.

"Responsiveness has been excellent each time I have needed help with a problem," said Fischer. "Lieberman had a competitive price and did not try to sell technology to me that I did not need."

"I was very pleased with Lieberman throughout the entire process."
