One: How did your career path bring you to LT?

I had been in IT for six years but it was not consulting. I was looking for a change of pace and a friend and former co-worker of mine was working at what was then Philip Lieberman & Associates. About five interviews later (yes, five!), I had the job.

Two: What’s your favorite thing about working at LT?

There is always something new to explore and work with so it’s never boring. The constant change in technology can be very challenging at times but that helps keep the brain in good working order! I like watching how technology continually finds its way into new fields and markets.

Three: Tell us about yourself.

I was born in Chicago and I’ve been in Evansville since 1991. My degree is not specific to information technology but it got me in the door and it’s been my career ever since. When I was a kid I used to try to fix anything that was broken, especially techie stuff. To this day I’m still that way. My wife and I have a son, and he keeps us both busy and on our toes. Two cats and a dog keep us company as well.

Four: What does life look like away from the office?

I enjoy running but don’t get to do it as much as I’d like. We have family scattered all over the Midwest (top to bottom) so we often hit the road and go visit one location or another. Currently most of my free time is spent doing things around the house or in the yard, with my son in tow. If I had more time I’d like to volunteer at the humane society or somewhere similar.

Four and a Half: Chocolate chip cookies – with or without nuts?

With nuts. And to be very specific, the best are fresh, out-of-the-oven milk chocolate chip cookies from Mrs. Fields stores!
