One : How did your career path bring you to LT?
I was in college looking for another part-time job. My now-husband was an intern at LT for the summer and heard that they were looking for an administrative assistant. I applied and worked here throughout my senior year of school. Before I graduated in May, I was offered a full time position and gladly took the job.
Two : What’s your favorite thing about working at LT?
I love the people I work with. I am happy to say that I look forward to coming to work every day.
Three : Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Missouri and moved to Evansville in fourth grade and have been here ever since. I have two sisters and two brothers. I graduated from Reitz High School in ’09. Went to USI originally for Dental Hygiene, but changed my major after taking an Intro to Sociology course. I graduated from college last year. We bought our first house in September last year, got a puppy in October, and got married on May 17.
Four : What does life look like away from the office?
For the past year in a half, life has been about one big thing after another – graduation, buying a house, and then getting married. Now that all of those big things are out of the way, it’s time to relax! Just kidding… It’s time to put more work into the house. We’ve been focusing on the outside of the house this summer – cutting down trees, cleaning up the landscaping, and putting in a fence for our dog. Also, pretty much all of our friends are getting married this year as well, we have SEVEN more weddings to go to this year. So, that will be taking up a big chunk of our time. Hopefully, we will really get to relax next year!
Four and a Half : If you could instantly become fluent in another language, what would that language be and why?
Spanish, it’s the fast growing language in the U.S. and would be useful to know.
